WordPress.
For some this word means wonderful four letter words like love, safe, fast, and good while for others it conjures up other four letter words that we will let the viewer fill in their own blanks.
This has been my first experience using WordPress. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but not knowing how to create a website, I’ve felt limited. After hearing great things about WordPress and how simple it was to use, I decided to give it a try.
I’ve been following Smashing Magazine and Mashable for a while now on Twitter. They recommended some great WordPress themes I could use to help design the site. So, I thought, it’s about time I build a website!
Note here: THEMES ARE NOT ANY EASIER. They are not designed for the simple, non-techie code speaking, anti-developers like me. I soon found myself using other four letter words than love and good when the mention of WordPress popped up on my Twitter page.
After much research and some help from some friends, I finally figured out how to create my first website.
